What makes a girl smile? If you’d think about it, a smile is an “outpouring” of a good feeling deep down inside. If something good is done to you and you feel special by this gesture, you won’t be able to help it but smile. But have you noticed lately that with the hustle and bustle of our day-to-day lives, smiling seems to be a hard thing to do. If you’re a fan of some Facebook quotes, you already probably came across this quote: “always find something to smile about”. Sad but true, we seem to be distracted that smiling has to be forced on us. Maybe it is true; it is hard to find something to smile about.
Then you meet his girl and instantly you like her. Knowing now that just by making her smile you will make her feel special. How do you do it?
Be there when she needs you
Even if you are not yet romantically connected, let her know you’re somebody she can count on. This is not to say that you’ll be at her beck and call. But “being there” means being the first person she’ll think about when she needs somebody to talk to – about good things or bad – as her confidant. In our society, our social friends doesn’t always equate to being our “listening friends”. It means a lot to your girl if you can be there to shed some light to her confusions or just be her clown when she’s feeling down. Let her know she can trust you with her feelings and share some wisdom to ease her pressures and pain. These sincere gestures of love and care are really hard to ignore. This means, everything you do is well appreciated. It will not be a surprise anymore if she starts to reciprocate all the gentleness you show.
Respect her, her family, her friends, and her morals
Agreeing to respect her views and opinions, her friends or morals is not being a yes-man. It only means you accept that no two persons have exactly the same personalities and points of views. Letting her know you are not threatened by her choices is a sign of a confident guy and this gives your girl a reason to smile. She is smiling because she is not worried that your differences will always end in conflict and that despite your differences you still show love and respect. Knowing that she can rely on you for support for all her endeavors whether it be a success or failure, and without prejudice to you, is a gesture of chivalry she will always appreciate.
Make her feel like she’s the only girl in the world
More often than not guys fail in this department, showing just how special their girl is. Girls need to be reassured of your love and affection. Words are good but actions speak better. So if you must demonstrate your true feelings, then do this in a place where she can feel the pride that, indeed, she is the only girl for you. Hold her hands tight while you walk across a crowded room. As you cross the street, immediately go and walk by the dangerous side. Hold the door for her when she enters a room. Open the car door for her to hop in. Surprisingly send her a bouquet of roses at work for no occasion. Cook for her and run errands for her. Fix her a warm batch when she gets home. Offer to wash the dishes or pick up the groceries. On and on and on – in other words, do the genuine acts of chivalry. This is your fail-safe way to make her smile all the time. Women simply like the feeling of old romance and they can never deny it, no matter how tough they feel inside. In a relationship they embrace the idea of “submission”, of being “dependent” and well taken care of — like a queen for a king. If she is indeed the queen of your heart then heed this advice.
As you see, making her “smile” is not really hard work. In fact, they are gestures borne out of your true love for her. These actions are actually expected of men in a relationship; they shouldn’t feel like “making an effort” at all. But what may seem like a no-big-deal to you could mean everything to her. Keep in mind that if she’s happy whenever she’s with you then that feeling will help build a greater connection that is vital in your relationship.
